Tom brings over 20 years of experience in the legal information services market to his role as CEO of Legal Benchmarking Group (LBG). With a background in leading teams across commercial, operations, research, and content, he has a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

Having worked in both London and New York, Tom has a global perspective that informs his approach to overseeing the company's strategy and growth plan. He is focused on driving value creation and ensuring the company's continued success in delivering exceptional services to clients. Under Tom’s leadership, LBG has successfully navigated a period of significant strategic transformation, including the sale of the business from Delinian to Triple Private Equity and the acquisition and integration of The Lawyer, strengthening LBG’s position as a leading global provider of legal intelligence, rankings, and insights.

Tom spends his spare time helping to coach his daughters' softball teams and working on ambitious DIY projects around the house.

Stephanie Buckland

Chief Operating Officer

Stephanie brings extensive experience in operations, people leadership, and business transformation to her role as Chief Operating Officer at Legal Benchmarking Group. Throughout her career, she has led complex operational and organisational change programmes, helping businesses scale, improve performance, and achieve sustainable growth across multiple sectors, functions, and international jurisdictions.

Having worked with teams across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, Stephanie has extensive experience operating in global organisations and navigating the opportunities and challenges of diverse markets. Her broad background spans operations, people, legal, technology, and business services, giving her a holistic perspective on building and supporting high-performing businesses.

As COO, Stephanie is responsible for LBG's global operational functions, including people, legal, technology, and business services. Working closely with the executive leadership team, she focuses on creating the foundations that enable growth, support colleagues, and ensure the business continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

Stephanie is passionate about building high-performing teams, simplifying processes, and creating an environment where people and businesses can thrive.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys travelling, hiking, yoga and Pilates, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Kit Carson

Chief Research & Data Officer

Kit Carson is Chief Research & Data Officer at Legal Benchmarking Group (LBG), where he leads the company's global editorial, product and research functions. As a member of the Executive Committee, he is responsible for shaping the organisation's research strategy, data capabilities, editorial excellence and product innovation across LBG's portfolio of legal intelligence brands.

With more than 20 years' experience in customer research and business intelligence across the legal and financial services sectors, Kit has built and scaled international teams across Europe, North and Central America, Africa and Asia. He has led significant growth and transformation programmes spanning research operations, product development, conferences and awards businesses, helping organisations improve performance while delivering greater value for customers.

Kit is recognised for his expertise in market intelligence, benchmarking methodologies and data-driven product innovation. He has played a key role in expanding LBG's global research and data capabilities and developing market-leading intelligence products that help law firms and in-house legal teams make better strategic decisions.

He is passionate about using data, technology and operational excellence to accelerate growth, strengthen customer outcomes and create lasting competitive advantage.

Outside of work, Kit enjoys spending time in the mountains, be it hiking in the Alps, wild camping in Scotland or skiing wherever possible.

Faiza Jibril

Chief Revenue Officer

Faiza brings over 13 years of experience in legal services and legal intelligence to her role as Chief Revenue Officer. Her background spans sales, research, marketing, customer success, and revenue operations, giving her a broad understanding of how to build strong teams, deepen client relationships, and drive sustainable growth.

Based in New York, Faiza brings a global perspective to LBG’s commercial growth agenda. She is focused on bringing sales, marketing, customer success, and revenue operations together into one cohesive go-to-market organization, strengthening customer value across the company’s portfolio, and supporting LBG’s continued expansion in key markets.

Faiza is particularly focused on developing data-driven commercial models, sharpening LBG’s value proposition, and helping teams connect clients with the insight and benchmarking products that best support their goals.

Outside of work, Faiza enjoys exploring New York, traveling with her two children, and learning new languages whenever she can.

Katy is a seasoned marketing professional leading a dynamic multidisciplinary team focused on customer engagement, lead generation, and enhancing brand recognition. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role at Legal Benchmarking Group.

Before assuming her current position, Katy held a variety of senior marketing roles across healthcare and financial services sectors.
